Show Music School Opens July 25 The Treasure Mountain Festival will open its summer music school on July 25, at 566 East South Temple, Tem-ple, in the white stone building which was formerly the Second Church of Christ Scientist. In two weeks the building will be temporarily renamed "New Festival Hall" for the month the Treasure Mountain Festival participants parti-cipants will be studying there. NINE CONCERTS are scheduled for the students and public in the four-week span. Of these, four chamber music concerts will be presented pre-sented by the faculty, and students will perform in concert on five occasions. oc-casions. On July 31, the New Festival Hall will host Oscar Chausow, new Utah Symphony Concertmaster, and Gladys Gladstone, prominent concert con-cert pianist, in a sonata recital which will initiate the concert series for the school. Students may obtain single admission tickets for one dollar, and others may purchase pur-chase them at two dollars, or five dollars for the complete faculty series. Applications are still being accepted ac-cepted from qualified music students stu-dents who wish to engage in the program. The eighty-five dollar tuition tui-tion fee entitles a student to private pri-vate lessons, masterclasses, chamber cham-ber orchestra, harmony and theory classes, chamber ensembles, and participation in or attendance at all of the concerts.
