Show Game Scene of Demonstration Civil rights demonstrators plan to stall cars on traffic routes leading lead-ing to Busch Memorial Stadium Tuesday when the baseball All-Star game is played there, a St. Louis civil rights leader said Saturday. Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey Hum-phrey is scheduled to throw out the opening ball at the game. Percy Green, director of the Action Ac-tion Council to Improve Opportunities Opportuni-ties for Negroes, said his group would stall the cars at key intersections inter-sections before and after the game. He said 15 automobiles would be used. "The protest is being staged," said Green, "to bring the grievances of the Negro community before Vice President Humphrey." |
