Fowler, University Uni-versity associate professor of music, has been appointed Director Direc-tor of Public Relations for the National Stage Band Camps. FHE ANNOUNCEMENT was made by Ken Morris, president of National Stage Band Camps, Inc., South Bend, Ind. Dr. Fowler will act as information informa-tion officer for the camp's nationwide na-tionwide program and distribute enrollment materials throughout through-out the country. A nationally known guitarist and faculty member since 1953, Dr. Fowler will retain his music teaching position at the University. ' THE NEW Public Relations Director said the Stage Band Camps have been expanding for the past seven years. Last August, camps were conducted on four college campuses: U. of Connecticut, U. of Indiana, U. of Nevada, and U. of Utah. Dr. DR. WILLIAM J. FOWLER . . . gets new appointment |
