"Existentialism and Human Despair" will be the topic tossed around by a panel of five tonight at 8 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. THE EPISCOPAL Church will host the seventh Jewish-Christian Inter-Faith "To Grow in Wisdom" Panel Discussion and Dialogue. Members of the panel will include Rev. James T. Brown, Episcopal; Dr. Joseph JP. Christensen, Mormon; Rev. Stanford R. Hall, Lutheran; Rev. Lawrence P. Sweeney, Catholic; Rev. John M. Wade, Presbyterian (will represent Calvinistic view); and Dr. Louis C. Zucker, Judaic. THE SESSION will open with a brief statement by Mr. C. M. Gilmour, attorney at law, of the purpose of inter-faith meetings. Dr. Robert E. Helbling, director of the Honors Program at the University, will moderate the discussion. THE PANEL will attempt to come to grips with the question TRIO PERFORMS The Beaux Arts Trio will be in concert Monday night in Kingsbury Hall at 8:15. The Artists and Speakers will be sponsoring the well known trio. The trio members mem-bers are Daniel Guilet (violinist), Menahem Pressler (standing) and Bernard Greenhouse. "Who are you, anyway?" It will consider why so many people seem to be drifting along, bored with triviality, committed to nothing in particular, and anchored to nothing of permanent perma-nent significance. After the remarks of each panelist, questions will be invited from the floor. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome. |
