Show Utah Dairymen to Hear National Speakers Two nationally recognized authorities au-thorities on dairying will address ad-dress the 21st annual meeting of the American Dairy Association Associ-ation of Utah in Salt Lake City at Hotel Utah, Friday and Saturday, Sat-urday, November 23-24. They are: Howard C. Fedder-son, Fedder-son, deputy director, Dairy Division Div-ision of the Agricultural Marketing Mar-keting Service, U. S. Department Depart-ment of Agriculture, and Martin Mar-tin J. Framberger, newly appointed ap-pointed general manager, American Amer-ican Dairy Association. Mr. Fedderson, who will represent rep-resent Secretary of Agriculture Agricul-ture Ezra Taft Benson at the meeting, will speak on the subject, sub-ject, "Growth of Markets for Dairy Products". He is well acquainted ac-quainted with the government dairy program, and knows in detail the progress made in clearing U. S. markets of the surplus. Mr. Framberger, who will speak on the subject, "Working Together", has been manager of the Wisconsin unit, of the American Dairy Association since October, 1954, and before hat was membership director for five years. Before joining he association he was a county Agricultural agent in Columbia County, Wisconsin, and a vocational vo-cational agricultural instructor in Wisconsin. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, .laving received a B. S. degree in agricultural education and iconomics in 1941. At a meeting of the board if directors to be held Friday jvening, new officers will bo elected. Present officers are: president, Welby W. Young, .-Ieber; vice president, A. W. Chambers, Smithfield; secre-ary-treasurer, George B. Caine ..ogan; and managing -director, A. J. Morris, Logan A women's meeting and demonstration dem-onstration will be held Sat-rday Sat-rday morning under the dir-action dir-action of Genevieve Allen, dir-?tor, dir-?tor, and Margaret Gere, nut-tritionist, nut-tritionist, Dairy Council of Utah. |
