Show STATE LEGION COMMANDER TO SPEND VETS DAY IN BEAVER COUNTY Parley E. Jensen, commander. com-mander. The American Legion, Le-gion, Department of Utah, will make two appearances in Beaver County on Veterans' Day, Monday, Nov. 12th. Commander Jensen will be featured during the Beaver celebration in the morning, and will address a special assembly as-sembly at Milford High school at 2:30 in the afternoon. All Legionnaires are urged to attend the assembly, in uniform if possible, and parents and the general public are invited to I attend and hear Utah's No. 1 ! Legionnaire speak. The program at the high j school will be: 1 Invocation; potting of colors, ! Pledge of Allegiance. "Star Spangled Banner," Milford Mil-ford High School Band. Welcome, Neil Smyth, student stu-dent body president. Patriotic Talk, by a Milford 1 High School student. Musical number. Address, Department Commander Com-mander Parley Jensen. Band number. At Beaver, the commander will march in a parade scheduled sched-uled for 10:30 a. m., and appear on the Vets Day program, to . start at 11 o'clock. A complete baked ham dinner will be served in the high school cafeteria, cafe-teria, and a dance and floor show will be staged in the evening. |
