Show MRS. PATRICIA WILLIAMS, Society Editor JERRY MEMMOTT entertained enter-tained her pinochle club on Monday of last week. Spaghetti and tossed salad were served to the following guests: Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Harton, Phyllis Price, Pat Johrn.on, Lois Hollis, Louella Fisher, Margaret Arnold, and invited guests Isabelle Penfield and Helen Bolton. Cake and coffee were served and Marj Harton, who was observing ob-serving her birth anniversary, was presented with a lovely gift. . MRS. HINAURI TRIBOLE was guest of honor at a farewell fare-well party last Friday evening, when the following B P W ladies la-dies called at her home: Mrs. Emma Smith, Mrs. Vera Bond, Mrs. Rae Thompson, Mrs. Anis Openshaw, Mrs. Beatrice Ox-ley, Ox-ley, Mrs. Grace Jefferson, and President Lillian Anderson. Motion pictures of many of Milford's special events were enjoyed by the group. Each lady presented Mrs. Tribole with a dainty handkerchief. Refreshments were served during the evening. MRS. BEATRICE OXLEY entertained en-tertained the L D S Second Ward officers and teachers last Monday evening. A ham dinner was served from a beautifully appointed table. Guests included Mrs. Zelma Alger, Mrs. Mildred Wilcock, Mrs. Faye Berger, Mrs. Nora Wright, Mrs. Betty Hardy, Mrs. Lola Banks, Mrs. Dixie Lamb, Mrs. Virge Goodwin, and Mrs. Ruth Lish. I BRADLEY MEMMOTT celebrated cele-brated his fifth birth anniversary anniver-sary on Feb. 19th with a lunch and sleigh riding party. Hot dogs, pickles, olives, potato chips, cake and ice cream were served. Favors were rings and fireman hats for boys, and Bo-Peep Bo-Peep hats and barrettes for the girls. His grandmother, Mrs. Ber-nice Ber-nice Lane, was here from Cali-ente Cali-ente for the occasion. Enjoying the afternoon were Launie Lish, Kristin Lish, Terry Ter-ry Harton, Steve Harton, Kevin Marler, Laraine Labrum, Steven Labrum, Candy Holland, Vickie Holland, Jan Memmott, Craig Davie, David Bary Peterson, Lynda Merryweather, Sharon Hollis, Bob Hollis, Lester, Joana and Jill. MRS. TONI UFFENS had as her guests last Wednesday evening eve-ning members of her bridge club. Attending were Mrs. Rae Anderson, Mrs. Virge Goodwin, Mrs. Phyllis Keetch, Mrs. Dorothy Dor-othy Morris, Mrs. Dorothy Kiz-er, Kiz-er, Mrs. Mable Westergard, Mrs. Nelda Memmott, and invited guests, Mrs. Ina Norton, Mrs. Wilma Weston, Mrs. Faye- Berger, Ber-ger, Mrs. Norrma Yount and Mrs. Fern Burbidge. Prizes were received by Mrs. Westergard, Ms. Morris, Mrs. Kizer, Mrs. Burbidge and Mrs. Yount. MRS. ETHEL WILSON of Gering, Nebr., a sister of Mrs. Jack Morrison, has been entertained enter-tained in many Milford homes during her six-week visit here. Recent hosts included Mr. and Mrs. William Hendrickson, last Thursday evening, the Merrill Millers at Black Rock Ranch on Sunday, and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bush on Monday evening. Mrs. Susan Glenn was also a guest at the Bush home. On Saturday evening they attended at-tended the Washington's Birth-dav Birth-dav dinner at the Masonic Temple. . .j MI MRS. THERESA PITCH- , v FORTH was the guest of honor at a surprise birthday party on Feb. 23rd, given by Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Rickerson and Mrs. Afton Nelson. The honored guest received re-ceived a number of lovely gifts and cards. Bridge and pinochle were the entertainment. Prizes at bridge went to Mrs. Kate Shingleton and Mrs. Cora Jones. Pinochle winners were Miss Lois Altman and Mrs. Essie Thompson, with Mrs. Lena Morris drawing the house prize. Other guests enjoying the evening were Mrs. Wanda Holm, Mrs. Hazel Baxter, Mrs. Nina Bingham, Mrs. Cora Alt-man, Alt-man, Mrs. Susan Glenn, Mrs. Freda Smith, Mrs. Lillian Mel-lor Mel-lor and Mrs. Ethel Smith. Delicious Deli-cious pie and coffee were served by Mrs. Rickerson and Mrs. Nelson. - ON SATURDAY, Feb. 25th. friends of Sherrie Gillins, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Reed Gillins, called at her home to wish her a very happy birthday. birth-day. Each lady brought a covered dish, and after a social evening a tasty luncheon was served. WELCOMING Mrs. Bonnie Snelson into their neighborhood last Tuesday morning were Mrs. Rosemary Davie, who acted as hostess; Mrs. Beatrice Oxley, Mrs. Ethel Mclntyre, Mrs. Marilyn Mar-ilyn Merryweather, Mrs. Ruth Lish, Mrs. Jerry Memmott, Mrs. Afton Pettey, Mrs. Ray Larson, Mrs. Phyllis Symond, Mrs. Rae Thompson, Mrs. Mary Wiseman . and Mrs. Iola DeLeuw. An hour of social and refreshments refresh-ments was enjoyed by the group. BRIDGE was Tuesday evening's eve-ning's entertainment at the home of Mrs. Ruth McWhorter, with Mrs. Ina Norton, Mrs. Willie Weston and Mrs. Alice Elmer receiving the prizes. Other nlayers included Mrs. Norma Yount, Mrs. Melba White, Mrs. Fern Burbidge, Mrs. Selma Kirk and Mrs. Leah Pullem. Mrs. McWhorter served a salad course after the game of cards. j LADY LION hostesses for the regular meeting last Wednesday Wednes-day evening at St. Bridget's recreation rec-reation hall were Mrs. Stella Persons and Mrs. Barbara Mayer. May-er. President Grace Jefferson presided over the business meeting, meet-ing, after which Mrs. Elizabeth Martin talked on France for the remainder of the evening.
