Oi :L WALKER Phone DU 7-2690 A BRIDAL SHOWER was given Saturday night for Carole Dee Marquardson, in the beautifully beauti-fully decorated recreation hall at the L D S Church. Phyllis Whittaker was master of ceremonies for the following interesting program: Vocal solo, Bonnie Snelson; reading, Irene Stewart; two musical numbers, Bonnie Eas-ton Eas-ton and Wanda Munk; two accordion ac-cordion solos, Betty Jones. Cake and ice cream were served to the many guests THEO SMITH, son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Smith, celebrated celebrat-ed his sixth birthday on Sunday. Sun-day. Those enjoying hot dogs, birthday cake and rjunch were Max and Leland Mayer, Dale and Allan McKnight, Gary and Scott Elmer, Rodney Sears, Robert and Gary Smith, Marsha and Leon Smith, Bart Fisher, Arthur and David Stewart. Pinning the tail on the donkey don-key was played, and those win- ning prizes were Bart Fisher, Gary Elmer Theo Smith and I Leland Mayer. ADELE MAYER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mayor, celebrated her fourth, birthday Tuesday, Jan. 17th. A lovely decorated birthday cake and ice cream were served to her g-randparents, Mr. and Mrs, Theman Walker; Ronnie, Deanna and Darlene Walker, , and Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Mar- ! quardson. The P.-T. A. meeting held Jan. 19th at the high school was well attended by South Milford residents. Mr. and Mrs. John Jimenez and children have been visiting in Pico, Calif., with John's s ster, Mr. and Mrs, Al Jorgen-sen. Jorgen-sen. Lew and Irene Stewart spent their New Year vacation visiting visit-ing with Irene's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Westwood o'f Price. They also visited in Jo seph with Pearl Mills and in Orem with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer i Hutchines. I |
