The Minersville Ward is sponsoring a banquet on Feb 11th, with proceeds to be used for a lighting system on the church grounds. The weather has cooled off some, but so far it doesn't seem like winter. ' Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor motored to Nevada to visit with thjeir children, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor and family. Max Carter, another victim of mumps, was admitted to the Milford Hospital last week. Reports Re-ports are ne is suffering considerably. con-siderably. Charles K. Jameson became ill the 16th and was taken to the Milford Hospital for treatment treat-ment of a blood clot in his leg which caused severe pain. His daughter (Dorene DeMille) is still confined to a Salt Lake hospital, recuperating from injuries in-juries suffered in a car wreck. Lynn Roberts made a hurried hur-ried trip to Las Vegas Friday and back and on to Salt Lake Saturday moving his daughter (Jane) and family, so they can be With Daddy Bill, who is be- ing treated for polio at the L D S Hospital. A son, Spencer Roberts of Cedar City, also helped with the moving. Calling at the Lynn Roberts home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Alton Roberts and family of Beaver, and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Pearson and small son Randy of Salt Lake. a Master Billy Richards, young son of Bill and Lucy, was honored hon-ored with a birthday farty Monday, Jan. 23rd. A host of little school friends enjoyed the party, playing games and unwr-pping little gifts. Cookies, Cook-ies, punch and popsickles were served by Mommie and Robin Marquardson.
