Show PERSONAL MENTION Ray Paice, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Paice, has arrived in San Diego, Calif., for "boot" training after enlisting in the U S Navy. Mr. and Mrs. John Jimenez and two children spent a week recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Jorgenson in Pico, Calif. Mrs. Allene Jefferson left last Friday for Berthoud, Colo., after receiving word of the death of her grandmother, Mrs. Tillie Kohler. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bock-woldl Bock-woldl of Paramount, Calif., also attended the funeral. The couple cou-ple returned to Milford with Mrs. Jefferson. Earl Stonehocker and son Robert joined Earl Jr. in Salt Lake last week end and together togeth-er they enjoyed the B Y U vs. Oklahoma ball game at Provo. Gary Bingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham, graduated grad-uated from a Salt Lake barber college on Jan. 18th. He is now located in a shop in Og-den Og-den where he will serve his apprenticeship. ap-prenticeship. Barbara Norton, 6 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Norton, had a birthday party at her home on Jan. 24th. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Grimshaw, join,ed Mr. and Mrs. J. T. James of Los Angeles in Las Vegas last week end. The group enjoyed en-joyed seeing the Donald O'Connor O'Con-nor Show and the "Blackouts." While in Las Vegas they stopped stop-ped at the Last Frontier. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Blackner of Lyman, Wyo., former Beaver County residents, will be in Milford next Monday, arriving for a week's visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Snelson. All their old friends are invited to call on them while here. Mr. and Mrs. Snelson will leave Monday for San Francisco, to attend a Penney convention, and the Blackners will care for the Snelson children. |
