CHARTER NIGHT SET FOR MILFORD BPWCLUB Charter Night for the Milford Mil-ford Business and Professional Profession-al Women's Club will be Friday, Fri-day, Sept. 30th, during National Na-tional B P W Week. The State B P W president will present the charter, and a special tribute will be paid to Mrs. Vena Wilson, who has had a long and active career in the Business world of Milford. A charter banquet in the Methodist Church will precede the presentation. The Beaver B P W Club, sponsors of the local group, will be present, a will state membership chairman chair-man Miss Anna Stark. PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, National Business Busi-ness Women's Week will be celebrated throughout the nation na-tion beginning Sept. 25 and ending Oct. 1; and WHEREAS, the organization of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's Clubs, Inc., is contributing contribut-ing much toward the development develop-ment of business and industry; and WHEREAS, we are emphasizing empha-sizing "AIM HIGH" in this pre-election year; and WHEREAS, the Milford B P W Club is an affiliate of the National Federation of Business Busi-ness and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc., is likewise contributing contrib-uting much toward the improvement im-provement and progress of business, industry " and civic needs in our community; NOW, THEREFORE, I, R. L. KIZER, Mayor of the City of Milford, Utah, do hereby proclaim pro-claim the week beginning Sunday, Sun-day, Sept. 25, and ending Saturday, Sat-urday, Oct. 1, as ' NATIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN'S WEEK in Milford, and urge our leaders lead-ers of business and industry to join in this observance.
