Show NEW BABY GETS BLOOD TYPE TATTOO Milford's civil defense medical med-ical section didn't waste any time Monday recording the blood type of this community's newest citizen. Two hours after aft-er young Paul Bailey was born at the Beaver County Hospital his blood had been typed and the "O-Positive" symbol was tattooed under his left arm. i The 7 lb 12 oz son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey arrived at the hospital at 3:30 p. m., and by 5:30 Dr. Eugene Davie had comple ted the identification marking. It is believed to bu the youngest baby ever to have his blood type tattooed on his chest. The local hospital types the blood of all new born babies, Dr. Davie said, as a part of tin regular civil defense program. However, the tattooing is done only after consulting with l his pa rents. |
