Show ARLO MESSENGER SEEKS STATE LEGISLATOR JOB Arlo Messinger, Democratic candidate for State Representative Representa-tive from Beaver County, is a native of the county, having been born in Beaver in 1916. He is a son of Clyde L. and Hilda Parkinson Park-inson Messinger. Mr. Messinger attend the Beaver County schools, and after graduating from Beaver High, enrolled at the U S A C at Lo- , ". f ..!.' w.a V I , ( , l Arlo Messinger gan. He was graduated from H that college in 1939, and has j since done graduate work at the University of Utah. While attending college, he worked for Monolith Portland j Cement Co. in California during ' the summers. Mr. Messinger taught high school in Millard County for two years, then served in the U. S. Army in Africa and Italy for approximately three years. Upon j his return from military service, ! he taught at Beaver High until he was appointed Clerk of the 1 Board of Education in 1946. I He married Ila Styler of Oasis, and they have two children. Mr. Messinger served for two 1 years as bishop of the Beaver ! Second Ward, and on the Stake High Council.
