Show MINERSVILLE 4-H YOUTHS WIN AWARDS AT CEDAR CITY STOCK SHOW Jimmy Williams, 4-H club member from Minersville, was I awarded the Tribune-Telegiam calf at the Southern Utah Live-j Live-j stock Shew held in Cedar City last week-end. This calf is to be selectede from the purebred herd of Dr. John Beal of Cedar C'ty, and Jimmy is to feed the calf for a year and exhibit it at the Cedar City show in 1953. 1 A T-X 1 A TT "IT.-- 1 Dale Eyre, 4-H Club member from Minersville, was awarded a trophy donated by E. S. Gardner Gard-ner of Pine Valley for exhibiting exhibit-ing the best purebred Hereford heifer in the 4-H Club division. John R. Yardley of Beaver-took Beaver-took third place in the entire show with his fat steer.- Other ; 4-H Club members who placed high in the fat steer division are: High Choice Cliff Yardley, two. Gilbert Yardley, two. Raul Pearson, one. Gordon Eyre, one. Choice Gilbert Yardley, Calvin Yard-ley, Yard-ley, Jimmy Williams, John Yard-ley, Yard-ley, Kenneth Yardley, Scott j Pearson, D. J: Smith, and Roland Yardley. Good Bill Kelsey, Dale Eyre, Calvin ; Eyre, Billy Dalton. Fat Lamb Division David Wiriams, Minersville, placed fourth with the lamb that graded prime. He also had the lamb" that graded choice. Gor- , don Eyre's lamb graded good. |
