Show RECORD CROWD ATTENDS STAKE CONFERENCE By Mrs. Gertrude Fisher Apostle LeGrande Richards and Bro. Davis represented the General Authorities at the Stake Conference in Beaver last Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday. There were 374 members in attendance at the Priesthood meeting Saturday evening, which was the largest group ever to attend such a meet-'. meet-'. ing in Beaver Stake. Then members of our Welfare organization attended the Welfare Wel-fare meeting earlier in the evening. eve-ning. President A. Carlos Murdock presided at the first general session ses-sion Sunday morning. Primary ! girls and boys from the various wards combined their voices to sing for the entire conference. A group of Milford First Ward Primary boys sang "Largo," earning the commendation of the authorities. Apostle Richards, whose entire life has been centered around young people's work, gave ax-cellent ax-cellent advice to the young folks. Attending the morning session were 1083 persons, representing 30 of the stake membership. The next Stake Conference will be helde in Milford in November. |
