On returning home they brought three of their grandchildren, Diana Kafy, John and Sheila Shannon, children of Mrs. Katherine Shannon. Mrs. Ada Jane Rodgers has returned to her home in Reno after visiting with her mother, Mrs. Jack Mahoney. ! ' j Mr. and Mrs. David Ericks n and two children are vacationing vacation-ing in Sacramento, Cal. Mrs. Donna Guenther of Cali-foriva Cali-foriva is here for a two weeks visit with her parents, Mr. and , Mrs. William Denny. I I MRS. LETTIE FOTHERING-HAM FOTHERING-HAM entertained members of her bridge club and invited guests last Thursday evening. Guests were Mrs. A. H. Con-nell, Con-nell, Mrs. Frank Hammond of California ,and Mrs. James P. Holm. Regular members present pres-ent were Mrs. M. F. Persons, Mrs. C. E. Leech, Mrs. William Morris and Mrs. Joseph Ricker-son. Ricker-son. Mrs. Holm, Mrs. Leech, Mrs. Rickerson and Mrs. Morris won the prizes. A dessert lunch was served by the hostess before the game of cards. PINOCHLE was pjayed last Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Hilda Smith. Prizes were receiied by Mrs. Mary McCul-ley, McCul-ley, Mrs. Helen Serva, and Mrs. Seldonna Easton. Other players included Mrs. LaRue Varley, Mrs. Cleo La-brum, La-brum, Mrs. Margaret Lund and Mrs. Lois Moore. During the evening a salad course was served by Mrs. Smith. I DORIS GUSTAVSON entertained enter-tained her pinochle club last Tuesday evening. Mrs. Anna Mae Hickman was an invited guest. Regular members attending were Mrs. Eleanor Murdock, Mrs. Patsy Stewart, Mrs. Anna Lou Campbell, Mrs. Jane Gillies, Mrs. Joyce Coon,, Mrs. Barbara Mayer and Mrs. Dorothy Grim-shaw. Grim-shaw. Ladies receiving prizes at pinochle were Mrs. Mayer, Mrs. Coon, Mrs. Murdock and Mrs. Stewart. TERRIE RAE HOLBROOK was three years old on Sunday, July 6th. A birthday party was given in her honor by her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Don Holbrook, Sunday afternoon. Little friends enjoying the gala affair were Stevie Larson, Paul Gustavson, Linda Merry-weather, Merry-weather, Kristin Lish, Craig Davie, Joyce Sullivan, Joan Edwards Ed-wards and Mary Myers. Baskets of candy were given as favors and ice .cream, birthday birth-day cake and punch were the refreshments. |
