D WUliams, Mr. Bill Dalton and Mr. John Williams attended a , livestock meeting m Salt Lake on Friday. Mrs. McKnight also accompanied the group for a short vacation. Jerry Eyre, Lee GiUins, Tex Marshall, Jeff Marshall and Nona Eyre left Friday for a 10-day 10-day vacation in California . Mrs. Rachel Eyre was honored hon-ored Friday evening at the home of her sis er, Mrs. Erma Eyre at a surprise birthday party to which Mrs. Eyres three brothers and their wives living in Minersville were mvit-3d. mvit-3d. Also present were Mr. and Mrs Wayne Gillins and Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre. After playing play-ing canasta and-pinochle, delicious deli-cious home made ice cream, :ake and coffee were served to he group Mrs. Fontella Dotson and Mrs. Ileen Gray were honored on their birthdays Monday evening eve-ning at a party given by the Primary teachers and officers at the home of Mrs. Gray. Victory Vic-tory House was played by the ovial group, after which a pot-luck pot-luck lunch was served. The two ladies received many pretty and useful gifts from their associates. asso-ciates. Walter Lunt of Cedar City son in law of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lunt, enjoyed dinner at their home on Thursday of last week. He was en route to Miford, Delta and other towns making a series of lectures to various Mr and Mrs. Floyd Wood, Mr. and Mis. Cub Car.er and Bishop and Mrs. Ruben Dotson visited the St. George Temple on Saturday, the occasion being Mrs. Dotson's birthday. Mr. Os Myers is the new chauffeur of the Minersville school bus transpoiting he students to Beaver High school. Mr. Myers succeeds Mr. Gress-man, Gress-man, who resigned to accept a position with the State Road Commission. Mr. Harold Baker is suffering suffer-ing from an injury to his foot. Mr. James Davis, who was released from the Iron County hospital last week, is recuperating recuperat-ing at his home. Miss Lois Rollins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Rollins, underwent un-derwent a tonsilectomy at the Milford Hospital on Saturday. I Mrs. Moroni Myers, affec- tionately known as "Grandma" Myers, has been ill the past sev- eral weeks. |
