Show MILFORD LIONS TO ATTEND CEDAR CITY CIVIC CLUBS CONCLAVE A goodly representation of Milford Lions will attend the meeting of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern and Eastern Utah at Cedar City next Saturday, Satur-day, March 3, it was announced by Lion President Horton after last week's regular meeting of the Milford Club.' President Kumen L. Jones of Cedar City will preside at the meetings. The afternoon meeting, meet-ing, which will be open to the public, will feature - addresses at 2 p. m. by D. H. Whittenburg, chairman of the State Road Commission; Chester J. Olsen, of the Forest Service; William R. Wallace, of the Utah Water and Power Users Association, and Supt. Smith of Zion National Nation-al Park. A delegation from Nevada, interested in better highway conditions between the two states, also will be present. The meeting will conclude with a 7:30 p. m. banquet at the Hotel Escalante, at which several of the guests will be speakers. |
