SUSAN McCULLEY. daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. McCulley, celebrated her ninth birth anniversary last Friday, Feb. 24th. Her birthday was the 26th. Refreshments carrying out the George Washington motif !were served by Mrs. McCulley, assisted by Mrs. Lawrence Easton, East-on, Mrs. W. P. Miller, Mrs. Charles Posey, Mrs. Don Young and Mrs. A. F. McCulley. LAST MOND evening Mrs. Louella Fisher entertained her 500 club at the home of Mrs. Hilda Shields. Ladies enjoying en-joying the evening were Mrs. Alice Miller, Mrs. Evelyn Bran-1 non, Mrs. Margaret Arnold, I Mrs. Jean Hickman, Mrs. Ar- j lene Voorhees, Mrs. Donna Christensen and Mrs. Audrey Skillicorn. AT THE HOME of Mrs. Afton Af-ton Nielsen, last Thursday, an interesting meeting was held bj members of her club. A medical med-ical report on Rh Blood Factor was given by Mrs. Jackie Williams, Wil-liams, followed by open discussion. discus-sion. The remainder of the evening was spent sewing, after which Mrs. Nielsen served a delicious salad course to Mrs. Virginia Grimes, Mrs. Dorothy Tuttle, Mrs. LaVern Thorrell, Mrs. Letha Loveland, Mrs. Mae Carter, Car-ter, Mrs. Doris Elmer, Mrs. Melba King, Mrs. Twila Abbott Ab-bott and Mrs. Williams. THE NEWLY ORGANIZED Auxiliary to Escalante Lodge No. 178 met last Saturday at the home of Mrs. LaRue Banks. The following ladies sewed on quilt blocks: Mrs. Kate Talan-con, Talan-con, Mrs. Nona Banta of Mo-dena, Mo-dena, Mrs, O'Leata Stewart and Mrs. Edith Barlage of Black Rock Mrs. Banks served tasty refreshments. re-freshments. MELBA WHITE had as her guests members of her bridge club, on Feb. 23rd. At cards, Mrs. Wilma Weston, Mrs. Marie Charchalis and Mrs. Selma Kirk reecived the prizes. Other players included Mrs. Leah Pullem, Mrs. Ina Norton, Mrs. Norma Yount and Mrs. Alice Elmer. PINOCHLE was the evening's entertainment at the home of Mrs. ' Lorelie Dawson last Friday Fri-day evening. The prizes were received by Mrs. Dora Miller, high; Mrs. Donna Christensen, second high. Other ladies present were Mrs. Virginia Beddingfield, Mrs. Audrey Skillicorn, Mrs. Al-meda Al-meda Holbrook, and Mrs. Ruth Lish. Mrs. Dawson served refreshments re-freshments at midnight. MR. AND MRS. ROBERT L. TOMSIK announce the marriage marri-age of their daughter, Vera, to Mr. Ben E. Price, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Price of Salt Lake Ci'y. The ceremony was performed per-formed at Pioche, Nev., last Sunday, Feb. 25th. The bride is a student at Milford High school, represent-' represent-' ing '.he Junior Class on the Student Stu-dent Council. Mr. Price is a former resident of Milford and Beaver. |
