Elder Jones entered the Mission Home in Salt Lake on Jan. 8. The January work and business busi-ness meeting of the Second Ward Relief Society was held Tuesday, commencing at 1 p. m., with 18 members present. Mary Johnson and Edna Baker were in charge of the work. Relief Society President Mary Williams has been called to California due to the illness of her daughter - in - law, Mrs. Hughes Williams, and was therefore not present. ' Elder Stewart is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis J. Stewart Stew-art of South Milford. He has two sisters, Betty Jean and Nedra. He was born in 1931 while the family lived at Ad-amsville. Ad-amsville. In October, 1943, when he was 12 years of age, they moved to Milford and have lived here since. He graduated from the Milford High school in 1949. During school he took part in F F A work. He has also taken an active interest in the Church, and has been a deacon, dea-con, a teacher, and a priest. He was ordained an elder by his father on Jan. 7, 1951. Since graduation from high school he has worked on the railroad and on his father's farm. There will be a farewell party and testimonial for Elder Stewart on Tuesday, Jan. 16, after Mutual. A fine program hs been arranged and all are urged to come out and give him your support. Fifteen officers and teachers of the Primary met at the Claude Horton home for the regular preparation meeting on Jan. 8. Lessons were given by Ella Jean Parkinson and Cuma Goodwin. Mary Long gave a special report. Those present were Ella Jean Parkinson, Virginia Gillins, Beth Edwards, Ida Hardy, Cuma Goodwin,' Helen Wilcock, Mildred Wil-cock, Wil-cock, Gladys Whittaker, Mary Long, Verl Horton, Irene Posey, Po-sey, Lucille Belliston, Bernice Smith, Maxine Bohart and Irene Stewart. Ruth Lish, president of the Primary, was unable to be there as she was in Rexburg, Idaho, visiting her mother. The Primary officers wish to remind everyone that Primary is held regularly on Mondays beginning at 3:45 p. m. David Henry Horton, son of Marvin and Lorraine Davis Horton, was blessed by his father in Sacrament meeting on Jan. 7th. .He was born Nov 13, 1950, at Cedar City, and has an older brother named Johnny. His grandparents Mr and Mrs. Clinton Bond of the First Ward, were present to see him blessed. His other grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jame Davis of Minersville Another baby, Leslie K Cluff, son of Ira and Eula Rob erts Cluff was blessed on jZ 2, 1951, by his uncle, Dean L Roberts.
