Commander James asks all j Legionnaires to turn out wearing wear-ing old clothes and carrying shovels. j . The popular Legion leader also expressed sincere thanks, on behalf of every member of the organization, to all merchants mer-chants and others who helped the Legion play Santa for two Milford families on Christmas Eve. "It was a wonderful Christmas for the kids," Commander Com-mander James said, "and was made possible by the wonderful support the local merchants gave us. We really appreciate there help." Gael Elmer advises that the Farmers Union will hold elec tion of officers Saturday, Jan. 13th, at 8 p. m. Refreshments will be served and everyone is invited. Jesse Long of Milford has been named to the professional relations committee of the Utah Education Association, to represent rep-resent Beaver County. Quite of list of law violators were reported in this week's fish and game bulletin, including includ-ing the following from Beaver County: Gerald Eyre and Lee Gillins, Minersville, fined $25 each before be-fore Justice of the Peace Del-bert Del-bert Jameson for shooting waterfowl wat-erfowl with improperly plugged guns; Karen Carter and Lester Clair Carter, Minersville, fined for shooting geese with rifles. |
