Show CHURCH NEWS Primary Conference was held Sunday night in the Recreation Hall of the new L D S chapelv President Mrs. Armina Banks was in charge. The boys and girls performed very well for the large crowd in attendance. Mrs. Virjean Jameson presented pre-sented a lovely lesson at Relief Society on Tuesday. Teachers' meeting was held after regular Relief Society. Swarm Day for County Bee-Hive Bee-Hive groups of the MIA was held at Minersville on Tuesday evening, under direction of Minersville Min-ersville MIA President Mrs. Lillian McKnight, who acted as master of ceremonies. The program pro-gram was as follows : Song, "Bee Hive Joys," by Bee Hive groups. Prayer, Sister Sis-ter Armina Banks. Flag ceremony, cere-mony, led by Marlene Baker; flag bearer, Janice Carter. Welcome, Wel-come, Stake Bee Keeper, Mar-jorie Mar-jorie Twitchell of Beaver. Presentation Pres-entation of Awards by Stake Bee Keeper. Three wards from Beaver presented pre-sented skits, and a group song was presented by the Milford group. 180 persons were served a delicious de-licious lunch by Mrs. Myrl Brad-field, Brad-field, Mrs. Sylvia Davis, Mrs. ; Elma Blackburn and Mrs. Lola Banks. A lovely display of handwork by these groups was shown. Newcomers have made their debut at the following homes: |
