Show P.-T. A. INSTALLS OFFICERS FOR '50-'51 Mrs. Antonette Uffens was installed as president of the Milford Mil-ford Parent-Teacher Association at the group's final meeing of the year, last week, in the high school auditorium. Mrs. Ina Norton, vice-president, and Mrs. Maudell Crane, secretary, also were installed to serve for the 1950-51 term, all three ladies having been re-elected to their offices for a second term. Mrs. William Ashworth acted as installing in-stalling officer. Featured on the program for the evening were students of Music Instructor David C. Wat-kins, Wat-kins, who participated in the ! recent district muslic festival Taking part in the vocal and instrumental in-strumental program were Joan Smith, Jay Bradshaw, Zelda' Merryweather, Leland Beard, Vera Tomsik, Dorothy Fisher, Darlene Nay, Bonnie Munk, Afton Hollis, Jerry Goodwin, Carol Hollis and Glen Casterline. Caster-line. At the conclusion of the program pro-gram the P.-T. A. turned over to the high school the remaining remain-ing funds in their treasury, to be used to help purchase a new curtain for the school auditorium. |
