LOVELY TRIO TO APPEAR HERE Three outstanding performers perform-ers of the Intermountain area, the American Concert Trio, will appear in Milford on Feb. 13th, I to present a varied musical pro gram at the High School Auditorium. Aud-itorium. Composing the trio are three talented young ladies, ' Janet Thompson, pianist; Gene vieve Parkin, soprano, and Monza Higgs, dancer and pianist. pi-anist. Tre theme of the American Concert Trio this season is "Romance," and the program will be replete with romantic j numbers, and will include also v some two piano numbers including in-cluding Rachmaninoff's Second Concerto, third movement, and Janet will play "Sous Bois" by Staub and "Sixth Hungarian Rhapsody" by Lizst. Monza will include in her dance num-bers num-bers a gypsy dance and panto-, mime to Gilbert's poem, "When You're Lying Awake." Genevieve Gene-vieve will present some arias from the. most well-known musical mu-sical comedies and an aria from one of the great operas. This is the third tour in the Intermountain section by these artists, who are filling many return engagements. |
