Mrs. Murdock was honored Saturday Sat-urday with a visit from her brother and family, the Charles Smiths of Provo. ' ' An operetta, "An Old Kentucky Ken-tucky Garden," will be presented pre-sented by the Special Interest Group of the MIA next Tuesday, Tues-day, Dec. 13th. The operetta is based on the music of Stephen C. Foster, and includes the fol"1 lowing cast: Stephen C. Foster, Val Marshall. Mar-shall. Jeanie, Eleanor Marshall. Phillip, Don Carter. Joy, Thel-ma Thel-ma Gray. Hannah, Gertrude Marshall. Henry Blow, Newell Carter. Richard, Lee Marshall. Majundahr, (a Hindu magician, yet to be selected). Joe Buzzard, Buz-zard, Ray Murdock. Elmina, William, Andrew, Seth and Adaliza (young friends of the family, yet to be selected). Lily and Tom, Sylva Davis and Ted Myers.' Mr. Moneyfold and Mr Artichoke, Max Carter and Mar shall Hollingshead. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Freeman of Piocho, Nev., spent last weekend week-end visiting with the Floyd Woods family. " Mr. and Mrs. Carl Banks and Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carter spent last week at St. George doing Temple work. Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins motored mo-tored to Salt Lake City to attend at-tend the funeral services of Dr. Shepherd. Anna Rae Carter went to Los Angeles Friday, returning home with Mrs. Inez Carter and grandchildren, Martha and Rol-lin Rol-lin Pearson. The Miner sville Primary sponsored a negro minstrel Wednesday night. Those taking part were the kindergarten children, officers and teachers. I Mr. Altus Nolder of San Ber-Inardino, Ber-Inardino, Calif., visited his fath-I fath-I er, Mr. I. N. Nolder, last week. Mr. Nolder returned to his home Friday. Mrs. Nellie Crane of Salina visited in Milford for the first time, this week. She was a guest at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lovell Crane. |
