Show KEITH ROLLINS SAYS DEEP WELLS O K "I believe the Milford Valley has a good chance of becoming a prosperous agricultural valley. val-ley. It has plenty of good land. It has a railroad running thru it. The deep wells that have already been drilled seem to be satisfactory and don't interfere with the shallow wells too much. "I believe the best crops to raise are alfalfa for hay and seed, potatoes, grain, and some truck garden crops like carrots, car-rots, peas and beans." Those are the opinions of Keith Rollins, who moyed to Milford from Minersville in 1928. He and his wife, the former for-mer Esther Barton, raise 25 acres of alfalfa, 15 of grain, and have 40 acres in pasture. They have four children, Jack, Mauri, Kerril Sue and Barton, all attending at-tending the Milford Elementary school. t |
