Show TOM HANKINS FARMS 640 ACRES Tom H. Hankins, spud and grain farmer, purchased 640 acres from Dr. Weir when he came to Milford three years ago. There were four wells on the place, and about one-third of it was clearend and ready for cultivation. cul-tivation. Under the direction of Lon-nie Lon-nie B. 'Willingham, resident foreman for Mr. McCain, the entire acreage has been cleared and prepared for cultivation. Last year they raised potatoes, wheat and barley, with good yields on all crops. Next year they plan to add oats to the list of grains. Mr. and Mrs. Willingham, who came here in 1947 from Bakersfield, Calif, have two children, Robert Haskell, 2, and Jimmie Preston, 4 months old. |
