Show LELAND RIGBY PLEADS GUILTY TO ROBBING MILFORD LIQUOR STORE Leland Rigby, 49, was bound over to district court in lieu of $1500 bond when he pleaded guilty to third degree burglary in Justice O. C. Koch's court Tuesday morning. Rigby had been charged with burglarizing the Milford state liquor store. Allen Heaps and Junior Eyre, observing Rigby leaving the liquor store about 4 o'clock Sunday Sun-day afternoon, carrying a carton of whisky, notified Norman Baxter, Bax-ter, local liquor store manager, and City Marshal D. A. Smith. Rigby was trailed to an apartment apart-ment house, where he was arrested ar-rested by Marshal Smith and Deputy Sheriff L. G. Clay. A ' case of whisky and several extra pints were found on the premises and another case, shipped to Delta, was confiscated by Millard Mil-lard county officers. Rigby was removed to the Beaver County jail by Sheriff Jasper Puffer, where he will appear ap-pear in district court next week. |
