Show THIS WEEK IN GARRISON By MRS. BLANCHE YERSIN The people of Garrison sin-cerely sin-cerely appreciate ihe splendid support of ihe airport dance last Saturday evening. "A goodl ycrowd was there" and all proceeds go toward completing com-pleting the air strip, which will be one of the finest non-metropolitan non-metropolitan airports in the west when completed. - Included among the guests, v who numbered more than 170, was Ben Hillman of Milford, who has been very helpful in preliminary arrangements for the landing field. Ben flew his Ercoupe over, and enjoyed the dance and "feed" as a special day, returning home with a new G M C pickup. Sunday they left for Junction, Colo, .accompanied .accom-panied by Mrs. Cecil Rowley. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Hillman Smith were Ely visitors this week. James Dearden and Wayne Gonder were Ely visitors Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Davies announce the arrival of a new grandson, born April 13th to Mr. and Mrs. Gareth Lowe of Arcadia, Calif. , Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Clay are "feeling fairly well" at this writing. I guest of Earl Yersin, airport manager. Others who came by plane included Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Vogue, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Black, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Burrison, all of Delta. Other out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ger, haty Mr. and Mrs. Dave Barnard, Dr. and Mrs. M. A. Nonderegger, Bill and Anna Belle, all of Ely; Mr. and Mrs. Nat Oxborrow of Magill; Mr. and Mrs. Selar Hutchings and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Bowles of Milford. Mr. Adams of Tooele, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Larson of Salt Lake. The committee on arrangements arrange-ments for the dance, Mrs. Earl Yerson, Mrs. Vivian Dearden, Mrs. Wayne Gonder and Mrs. Merlin Bishop, wish to thank everyone who helped in any one to make the dance the "roaring success" it was. Home for the Easter holidays were Emerson and Lila Gonder, who are attending school at Delta. They were accompanied by Reed Bunker and Connie Perkins. Mrs. Amanda Conk and Mrs. Emerson Wheeler were in Garrison Gar-rison to spend the Easter holi-j days with Mrs. Conk's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonder. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Galli and family were home from Delta to spend Easter with Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Galli. Mrs. Vernon Frampton of Ely was called to Garrison by the illness of her mother, Mrs. Daisy Rowley. Mrs. Rowley accompanied accompa-nied her back to Ely, to rest and recuperate. Mr. and rMs. Leland Peterson and son Gary of Ely spent the Easter week-end with Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gonder. Miss Rosie Frost of Spring Valley spent Easter Sunday as the guest of Don Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Richardson and son Erland, and Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Peterson motored to Spring Valley Sunday afternoon, to visit Mr. and Mrs. D. Hecka-thorn Hecka-thorn and family.
