Show . B A C SCHEDULES i . SUMMER CLASSES j Branch Agricultural College ; will hold a summer session foi . the first time this year, it was ; announced today by Dr. H. - Wayne Driggs, director. The summer program, run-' run-' ning from June 6 to July 15, 1 is designed to meet the needs of teachers and educators, and will afford the opportunity for speeding up the training of teachers in this area, Dr. Driggs pointed out. Teachers now employed em-ployed during the winter months who need additional college work may earn up to 9 hours of college credit during the six-week six-week course. j The schedule of classes is par-j ticularly broad in the field of education, since B A C'is now giving work leading to the bachelor's bach-elor's degree in that field. Courses in other fields, and special spe-cial interest subjects are also available, making a well-rounded well-rounded program for educators and those who are studying in other fields. Registration will take place June 6, beginning at 8 a. m., with instruction beginning the following follow-ing day. Classes are scheduled from 7 a. m. to 4 p. m. daily except ex-cept for Thursdays and Fridays during the 11 o'clock period. On Thursdays this period is kept open for lectures and concerts, and on Fridays for trips to surrounding sur-rounding scenic and historic spots. Courses, are offered in art, biology, education and psychology, psychol-ogy, English and speech, music, physical education, geology, photography, secretarial science and social sciences. |
