Show LEE ROGERS GOES TO ST. GEORGE AS PENNEY OFFICIAL Lee R,ogers, for the past several sev-eral years a . "fixture" at the J. C. Penney store in Milford, leaves this week-end for St. George, where he will assume the duties of assistant manager of the J. C. Penney Co. store. Lee has been a Penney employe em-ploye since early in 1942, when he worked after schools. Upon graduating from Milford High school in 1942, he accepted full-time full-time employment, and worked there for about 10 months, until he entered military service. Discharged in 1946, he returned re-turned to his old job, and has been a Pqflney employee since that time. Mrs. Rogers will join Lee in St. George about April 15th. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Killam and son David motored to Cedar City Monday, accompanied by Mrs. John Killam, who is returning re-turning to her home in Cednr City after spending the winter with her sons and their families Mr. and Mrs. Robert Killam and Mr. and Mrs.. Cecil Killam Mrs. Hancock of San Francisco a daughter of Mrs. John Killam also accompanied the group. She will spend two months in Cedar City with her mother. A very nice trip was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Claude Horton and children when they visited with Mrs. Horton's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Maffei, in Pocatello, Idaho. The Hortons returned to Milford Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Stephenson Stephen-son are now living in Cedar City. |
