Show RED CROSS DRIVE GETS UNDER WAY Ten captains will supervise the Red Cross drive in the 10 Milford d:stricts, which will raise a minimum of $400 for Red Cross activities, it was announced an-nounced by Mr. Otto C. Koch, who was elected drive chairman at a meeting last week. "We'd like to have more than the $400," Mr. Koch said, "and I'm sure we'll go over the top. Milford hasn't ever failed to over-subscribe a Red Cross quota, and a mere $400 should be easy." District captains, who will select se-lect their own co-owrkers, are I Mrs. M. I. Walters, Mrs. Ross ' Patterson, Mrs. Mildred Coon, Mrs. Max Root, Mrs. Ethel Niel-i Niel-i sen, Mrs. Loretta Cline, Mrs. Grover Cuddy, Mrs. J. R. Mur-! Mur-! dock, and Jay Christensen, who will have charge of the cam- pign in the business district. Vernon Burns is captain of the "outlying contacts," which include in-clude various business concerns who derive revenue from Mil-ford Mil-ford but do not maintain offices here. The captain for South Milford has not been named. In getting the drive under way March st, Mr. Koch announced that he had just received word that Joseph R. Murdock has been named chairman of the disaster relief in this area. |
