Show NEWS NOTES FROM "BLACK ROCK By MRS. WALTER JAMES Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Maddox have returned after a visit to their home in Macon, Georgia. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hardy have gone back to Salt Lake after spending several weeks here. Mr. Hardy was employed by the Union Pacific. Mr. L. L. Peterson of Fair-view Fair-view spent a short time in Black Rock, then went to Milford, from where he has accompanied several "hay , lifts" while hay was being dropped to his herd, which is located about 30 miles west of here. Residents were shocked this week to learn of the death of Willard Peacock, who was killed Sunday when struck by a bale of hay being dropped from a plane. Mr. Peacock was with the Charley Nielsen herd, whose allotment is 18 miles west of here. |
