Show NEWS NOTES FROM "BLACK ROCK By MRS. WALTER JAMES Mrs. Hampton Burke has returned re-turned from a trip to Denver, Colo, where she visited with her sister, Mrs. W. N. McMillen and with her mother, Mrs. Walter James, who is spending the winter win-ter there. When enroute back to Utah, Mrs. Burke made a short vis.t with her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Travers who make their home at Craig. Before coming com-ing home, Mrs. Burke spent two days as the guest of the C. A. Rohn family in Salt Lake City. Recent guests at the Black Ranch were the Floyd Hardy family of Clear Lake, Robert Dodds of Salt Lake and Walter James Miller who was accompanied accom-panied by three school companions. compan-ions. Merrill Miller has been called to Beaver several times the past ten days because of the serious illness of his mother, Mrs. W. A. Miller. Gilbert McCulley, Railway agent at this depot spent part of Friday in Cedar City, where 1 he transacted some business. |
