Show MILFORD GIRLS COMPETE IN STATE TYPE CONTEST On April 17th, four of our sen-! ior girls from the commercial group in Milford High school j went to the L. D. S. Business College in Salt Lake City, to take the Utah, State Merit Tests in Typing. Three of the girls completed com-pleted the tests, participating j both in the morning and after-! after-! noon examination, and we sincerely sin-cerely hope that they were successful suc-cessful in making the grade. This will prove an important step in their business progress, as it means a "worthwhile recommendation recommen-dation when making application for a job of any sort which requires re-quires a statement of character or ability along commercial lines. Corrine Clay, Nadine White and Shirlene Barnes were the students making the effort from our local school. I and 14, Blk. 19, Milford Heights Subdivision to the town of Milford. Bettv E.
