Show METHODIST CHURCH J If a community fails to back up its churches, it need not be surprised when , the church backs I up. In this, as in every community, com-munity, in the parlance of soldier sol-dier folk, the community ought to dig in. in the name of the cross as well as the flag. Sometimes a preacher will say, when asked, ' How is the church going:" "Oh, we're holding our own." No church is holding its own unless it owns but little, and unless it is holding Christ up before men, revealing the power of his love. This Little 1 Church on Main Street needs its hands strengthened to enable it to serve the community in an honorable manner. It wants to ' hold its own, but it wants to own ' much more than it does in true riches, which will endure thru-out thru-out eternity. Church services. April 25 ' Church school. 10 a. m.
