Show GAME FISHING OPENS EARLY AT RESERVOIR HERE Minersville Reservoir, scheduled sched-uled to be drained during the coming summer in order that repairs may be made to the dam, will be open for game fishing on May 15, it was revealed in a proclamation received this week from the Utah Fish and Game Commission.. At a meeting with a representative repre-sentative of the Fish and Game Commission, held in Beaver recently, re-cently, early opening of the reservoir res-ervoir to game fishing was one of the requests made by the combined com-bined Wildlife Clubs of the county. The proclamation follows: fol-lows: UTAH SUPPLEMENTAL FISHING FISH-ING PROCLAMATION NO. 2 An amendment to the 1948 State of Utah Fishing Proclamation Proclama-tion issued February 7, 1948 in the Deseret News, and February 8, 1948, in the Salt Lake Tribune. Trib-une. WHEREAS, after due investigation investi-gation we, the Fish and Game Commission of the State of Utah, find that a change in the fishing fish-ing regulations is deemed advisable: ad-visable: s NOW, THEREFORE, under authority of Section 30-0-7 and 30-0-8 Id, Annotated 1943, we, the Utah Fish and Game Commission Com-mission of the State of Utah, do hereby proclaim and declare: (1) That both game fish and rough fish may be taken from Minersville Reservoir in Beaver County, from May 15, 1948 to, and including, October 3, 1948. Bag limit to be same as originally orig-inally proclaimed, 2. That fishing from any boat be prohibited on the impounded waters in Blacksmith Fork and Logan Canyons in Cache County, Utah. It is provided by Statute that the above rules and regulations shall have full force and effect of law. Any violations thereof shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be prosecuted as such.
