Show SOUTH MILFORD By MRS. JOAN McKNIGHT Mr. and Mrs. Foley of Long Beach, Calif., are in South Mil-ford Mil-ford visiting at the home of Mrs. Foley 'z parents, - Mr. and Mrs. James Rollins. Mrs. Heslington has gone to Salt Lake to be with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. May Johnson. Mrs. Sadie Griffiths was taken to the Milford hospital for treatment treat-ment on Tuesday. A farewell party for Mr. and Mrs. Rouse was given Thursday evening at the Club House by the Social Hour club. The evening was spent visiting and dancing, after which ice cream and cookies cook-ies were served. A stork shower honoring Mrs. Margie Sherwood was given at the home of Mrs. Laura Sherwood Sher-wood in Minersville on Monday, by Mrs. Floyd Wright, Mrs. Louie Stewart and Mrs. Lorraine Lor-raine Gillins. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent playing "bunko," after which deliicous refreshments were served. Mrs. Sherwood received many lovely and useful gifts. Mrs. Wendell Westover re-1 turned to Riverside, Calif., with her mother, Mrs. Nielson, who' has been visiting friends and relatives rel-atives in Milford for the past two weeks. Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Evans took their sons to Beaver on Saturday Satur-day for a physical examination, which is required of all Boy Scouts who will attend the Boy Scout Jamboree in Salt Lake City in July. Mrs. J. H. Walker of Delta is here for a week's stay with her husband, who is working at the U. P. The Walkers will make their home here as soon as their new home, under construction across from the A. T. & T. building, build-ing, is completed. Mr. anil Mrs. Harold Baxter and family, and Sally Holly and Mrs. Ireta Albrecht motored to Delta last Sunday. Miss Leah Smith spent four days the past week visiting her sister, Patricia, in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith, mo-I tored to Logan to return with their daughters, Patricia and Leah. Patricia has been a student stu-dent at the A. C. at Logan. |
