Show BYU performers plan for tour Two BYU performing groups are curently preparing for tours cf the Orient to be capped by more than a week of appearances appear-ances at Japan's Expo 70. Fifteen members of the "Sounds of Freedom" singing group, under direction of Klea Worsley, have been selected by the USO National Music Council Coun-cil to tour the U. S. Pacific command from February 2 to April 6. They will entertain military personnel throughout the Orient, with appearances scheduled in Japan, Okinawa and possibly Taiwan and the Philippines. Touring the Orient January 30 through April 6, by invitation invita-tion of the Department of Defense, De-fense, will be a 15 member Program Bureau variety group, under the direction of Janh Thompson. Chief Theatre Poducer for the Expo 70 Corporation, Yoi-chi Yoi-chi Hattori, has extended an invitation to the groups to combine for two appearances daily in the Expo Outdoor Theatre. The-atre.
