Full cooperation of citizens in hauling trash to the garbage, is being asked so that citations cita-tions will not be needed to enforce en-force the suggestions made. Have you been driving down Fourth South or on Main Street toward Spanish Fork and had to dodge the limbs or other debris on the road from vehicles hauling trash to the garbage dump? This type of garbage scattering scatter-ing is classed as litterbugging and according to the Springville Spring-ville Police Department, is becoming be-coming a serious problem even though it may be unintentional. Good citizens who haul trash to the city dump are frequently found to be unwittingly, violators viola-tors of the litterbug law as they drive under the underpass on US Highway 91. Cross winds created by the overhead structures will blow some of the trash from the vehicle onto on-to the roadway and thus create cre-ate . not only a hazard, but an eyesore and a blight on the appearance ap-pearance of the city streets there, or wherever this happens. hap-pens.
