Show Conditional hunt planned for deer The Utah Division of Fish and Game announced that 200 either sex deer permits will be sold on a "first-come-first served" serv-ed" personal application basis at the Fish and Game regional office in Price beginning Tuesday, Tues-day, November 18 for a conditional condi-tional hunt on the Price-Dugout Creek area on the Range Creek deer herd unit. This conditional hunt is being be-ing called because of deer concentrating con-centrating in the Price-Dugout area and causing damage to agricultural crops. The Board of Big Game Control Con-trol has previously authorized conditional hunts to cope with unexpected big game problems. The hunting season for this conditional will be for nine days beginning November 22 through November 30. A person purchasing permits for this hunt must present 1969 big game licenses and may acquire three permits for other licensed hunters in addition to their own, for a total of four permits. Cost of the permits is $5 for residents and $7 for nonresidents. nonresi-dents. Anyone who has had an archery ar-chery permit or a control deer' permit this year is not eligible for a permit for this hunt. All provisions of the 1969 deer hunting proclamation apply ap-ply for this conditional hunt. |
