Show Patriotic program given at auxiliary With a patriotic theme emphasized, em-phasized, for their regular monthly meeting, the American Legion Auxiliary met with Legion Le-gion members November 12 at the Memorial Hall. In charge was President Freda Stupeck, Inez Chader displayed dis-played the flag which will be given to the art association to fly at the Springville Art Museum building. Lucille Laney was in charge of the program and introduced Mrs. Clark Day and four young girls who sang two patriotic numbers. Speaker for the evening eve-ning was Phillip Bird who spoke on patriotism. A. C. Chader, newly elected Legion commander, introduced the new officers and gave a resufne of accomplishments during the past year and a half. Refreshments were served to 30 auxiliary members and eight Legionnaires, by hostesses Mar-va Mar-va Davis, Fern Lee, Cleomia Miner, Lela Nelson and Dorothy Dor-othy Brown. The next meeting will be in the form of a Christmas Christ-mas party on Wednesday, December De-cember 10. |
