Show Mills Brothers coming to VMH The Mills Brothers, who have been delighting American entertainment en-tertainment lovers for 37 years, will make an appearance at the Valley Music Hall Friday and Saturday evening, September 26 and 27, at 8:30 p.m. each evening. Although the Mills Brothers started their career in 1931, they are still famous and popular popu-lar this many years later. Their latest recording of "Cab Driver" Driv-er" and "My Shy Violet" have caught on with record buyers as well as "Maggie's Place." These hits are proving as popular as their "Up the Lazy River," "Demm Bones," "Glow Worm," and "Paper Doll" did in a past generation. Appearing with the Mills Brothers will be Tony De Maio. Tony is a famous Brazilian popular pop-ular and classical song stylist. He has toured Brazil and Argentina Ar-gentina as a classical concert artist under the management of Brazilian President G e t u lio Varga's nephew. He appeared in Sao Poulo's Municipal Theatre The-atre for eight yeras. He has a repertoire in 12 languages including in-cluding Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Por-tuguese, French, German, Japanese Jap-anese and English. Mr. De Maio has been called the "Brazilian Lanza" because he bears a strking resemblance to the late singing idol. Tickets are now on sale at Valley Music Hall Box Office in North Salt Lake and may be charged at all Sears, Castleton, ZCMI, KOB and the Merc De-partment De-partment Store. |
