Show . 1$, -- Beverly Thyret Duffin Former resident dies on coast of heart attack Funeral services were held Monday at Burbank, California, for Beverly Ann Thyret Duffin, 41, of 725 North Belair Drive, Burbank. Mrs. Duffin died March 21, 1969 of a sudden heart attack. Burial was in the Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn Cemetery. She was born April 11, 1927 at Manti. Utah, to Henry G. and Elsie Elmina Munns Thyret. She, received her education in Springville Schools and graduated gradu-ated from the Springville High School. She graduated from the University of Utah Nursing School and specialized in pediatrics. pedi-atrics. She also trained at John Hopkins University and University Uni-versity of New Mexico at Albuquerque, Al-buquerque, specializing in psychiatry. psy-chiatry. She also attended the Denver University. She trained at the LDS Hospital and taught nursing education at the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. She married Vaughn Duffin October 1, 1954 in Springville. She was employed at the LDS Hospital at the time they moved mov-ed to California six years ago. She is survived by her husband hus-band and three daughters, Ce-lia. Ce-lia. Pamela and Lisa Ann all of Burbank; her mother, Elsie Thyret of this city; one sister, Mrs. Erie (Dooreen) Emmett of Fillmore. |
