Show For this weekend Kolob Stake prepares quarterly conference Elder Delbert L. Stapley, a member of the Council of Twelve, of the Church of Jesus Je-sus Christ of Latter-da;' Saints, will speak at the Kolob Ko-lob Stake Conference Saturday Satur-day and Sunday in the stake izona. He is a member of the executive committee and a director of ZCMI, a director of the Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone and Telegraph Co., and one of its Utah advisers. He is a director of Zion's First National Bank and a member of the executive committee and the board of trustees of BYU and the Church Board of Education. Eldcr Delbert L. Stapley house. Meetings for leaders will be held Saturday afternoon and at 7 p.m. stake and ward leaders, including the stake presidency and clerks, board members, ward auxiliary auxil-iary presidencies and superintendences super-intendences will meet. General conference session will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. directed by Ernest A. Strong, Jr., stake president. The conference session will be relayed to the Mapleton church as in the past. Junior Jun-ior Sunday Schools in the two buildings will be held during the morning session. Music for the general session will be furnished by the stake Relief Society Singing Mothers, directed by Clella Winkle and accompanied by Mary Bird. Also to be in attendance at the quarterly conference will be Gerald Smith, representative repre-sentative of the Twelve. Elder Stapley is a prominent promi-nent businessman, community commun-ity leader and Scout executive execu-tive from Arizona. He was named to the Council of the Twelve in 1950. He was high councilmen, Melchize-dek Melchize-dek Prieshood quorum presidencies, presi-dencies, group leaders and secretaries, all members of ward executive councils, stake auxiliary officers and a former stake president and welfare leader in Phoenix. He is a member of the national na-tional committee of the Boy Scouts of America. In the division of responsibilities respon-sibilities among members of the Council of the Twelve, Elder Stapley has charge of the missions in Central America, Mexico and Spanish. Span-ish.
