Show (f3revitiei ... Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Jock-son Jock-son and son Steven were in Livermore, California, to see their granddaughter blessed. The baby, Roni Sue, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ste-phen Rowland. While in California they visited vis-ited a brother of Mr. Jackson's in Mantera. Traveling down the coast, they visited with a sister of Mr. Jackson's at Mal-ibu, Mal-ibu, and another brother in San Diego. Mrs. Rowland and baby returned home with the Jacksons and spent two weeks visiting friends and relatives here. She was the house guest part of the time here at her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rowland. She returned re-turned to California last Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alleman enjoyed a visit from their daughter, Margaret, and husband, hus-band, Granvel Kirkland and children from Fort Pierce, Florida, and also a brother of Mr. Kirkland's, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Kirkland of Altus AFB, Oklahoma. The Allemans kept their grandchildren here while the two Kirkland families en-poyed en-poyed a ten-day vacation in the Big Horn Country of Wyoming. Wyo-ming. While here the Granvel Kirklands went to the Logan Temple with their youngest son for ordinance work. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Thorpe . of Long Beach, California, and formerly of this city, spent the past week in Springville visiting visit-ing relatives. They were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Mor-ris Thorpe, Shirlep Thorpe and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alleman. They visited in Ogden and Salt Lake City and will spend some time in Colorado and New Mexico enroute home. Mr. Jess Lee of Richland, Washington, was house guest of Mrs. Arthur Condie and Mrs. Earl Condie and families. While here Mrs. Lee was entertained en-tertained by various family groups. She came especially to visit a niece, Phyllis Condie, who has spent the past two years in Germany as teacher at an air force base. Phyllis returned to Springville to visit her mother, Mrs. Arthur Condie, Con-die, and will return to Germany Ger-many in August to continue teaching. Mrs. Kent (Marquitta) Lar-sen Lar-sen of Huntington Beach, California, Cali-fornia, and four children, a twin brother, Markay, and his wife and four children of Napa, California, together with Mr. and Mrs. Larvin Campbell and three children of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mr. and Mrs. Aldon Campbell and six children chil-dren of Roy, Utah, have all visited at various times over the past few weeks at the home of Mrs. Margaret Campbell and other relatives and friends here. A nephew of Mrs. Campbell, Kip Cloward, and a friend of Decater, Georgia, spent a few days visiting here also during last week. |
