Show Top executives to speak at UVIDA meet Saturday Five top evecutives from four West Coast firms have accepted accept-ed invitations to speak at UVIDA's second annaul Industrial Indus-trial Development Conference, October 6 and 7. They will participate par-ticipate in a forum Saturday morning in the Wilkinson Center. Cen-ter. The topics to be discussed are: "The Role of Finance in Industrial Development," "The Need for Prepared Industrial Sites," "How to Build and Project Pro-ject the Proper Image," "The Role of Mr. Average Citizen." First to speak will be Frederick Fred-erick S. Huber, executive vice president, and general manager of the Western Bancorporation, a Los Angeles based bank holding hold-ing company. (Western Ban-corporation Ban-corporation is the largest such company in the United States and Walker Bank is one of their affiliates.) Assisting Mr. Huber with the topic "The Role of Finance in Industrial Development" Devel-opment" will be Douglas Clifford, Clif-ford, a former Utahn and also a V. P. of Wetern Bancorporation. Bancorpor-ation. Paul P. Shepherd will present the subject "The Need for Pre pared Industrial Sites." Mr. Shepherd is the Western Operations Op-erations Mgr., and vice president presi-dent of Cabot, Cabot and Forbes a Boston based real estate developer. Western office of-fice of this company is located locat-ed in San Francisco. Dealing with the subject of "How to Build and Project the Proper Image" will be Joseph Q. Blake, a marketing V. P. for the Security First National Bank of Los Angeles. The last speaker on the forum for-um program will be Stan Sel-by, Sel-by, general manager of the Colorado Springs Division of Hewlett-Packard Co. Mr. Sel-by's Sel-by's topic will be "The Role of Mr. Average Citizen." After the four topics have been presented pre-sented there will be a period for questions and answers. |
