Over a hundred individuals! exhibited several hundred pieces of handiwork from articles of crochet to intricate pieces of furniture, at the annual Hobby Show sponsored by the Springville Spring-ville Senior Citizens at Memorial Mem-orial Hall last weekend. Charles Boyer was general chairman. Visably impressed with the exhibit and other activity of - the Springville organization j were visiting state officials who took pictures to send to the federal office in Washington, D. C. Included in the display, were many beautiful pieces of ceramics, gem collections, quilts, needlepoint pieces, furniture, furni-ture, rugs, lamps, paintings, clay modeling, leatherwork and many novelty items. New lights Adding a more modern appearance ap-pearance to the spacious Memorial Mem-orial Hall, are the new lights which have been installed recently re-cently at a cost of $200, according ac-cording to Chairman A. Other activity The Senior Citizen organization organiza-tion continues to function with an increased enrollment monthly month-ly ad a good attendance on Wednesday a f t e rnoon each week, the official meeting day, although many find worthwhile entertainment on Fridays and other days of the week, at the hall.
