Show Local PTA council makes plans to hold workshop August 30 S p r i ngville-Mapleton PTA Council has scheduled a workshop work-shop for all unit PTA officers and chairmen, Tuesday evening August 30, at 7:30 p.m., at the junior high school. Council officers of-ficers and chairmen will conduct con-duct department work. The council workers for the ensuing ensu-ing year are: Mrs. Earl Goates, president; Mrs. Juan Whiting, Mrs. Hugh Hjorth, and Ralph Poulsen, vice presidents; Mrs. Grant Nielson, secretary; Verl Dallin, treasurer; Mrs. D. R. Haws, program chairman; Mrs. Dennis Robertson, hospitality chairman; Mrs. Max Alleman, membership; Mrs. Wayne Tay lor, magazine; LuDean Litster, public relations; A. LeRoy Er-ickson, Er-ickson, parent education; Mrs. P. K. Edmunds, health; Art Child, safety and juvenile protection; pro-tection; Mrs. George Pehrson, scholarship; Mrs. Frank Jenkins, Jen-kins, citizenship. It is extremely extreme-ly important that all PTA workers attend this meeting officers announce. Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel DiGia-como DiGia-como of Mapleton, are enjoying enjoy-ing a visit from his sister, Miss Dorine DiGiacoma, a nurse at the Evangelical Deaconess Hospital Hos-pital at Brooklyn, N. Y. She plans to be here until Dec. 1. |
