Show ' " ' i . 1 Leo A. Crandall, who has served ser-ved three terms on Nebo ( school district board of education, files for reelection. Leo A. Cranda!! files for post on school board Leo A. Crandall, representing Springville for the past 13 years on Nebo school district Board of Education has filed for reelection to another term. Mr. Crandall is a member of the contractong firm of Strong Company and a life-long resident resi-dent of this city. He is the father fa-ther of six children. Four have graduated from the local high school and three from BYU. One is currently attending BYU and two are in the local schools. During the past three terms as a member of the board, Mr. Crandall has had wide experience exper-ience in the making of policies and in assisting in the up-dating of the buildings and grounds. He has served as a director of the Utah State School Board and is its president. presi-dent. He is currently a member of the board of the Utah High School Activities Association, and the Utah Educational Television Tele-vision Foundation. To hold these positions, a person must be an active member of a school board. Mr. Crandall states that he is seekng reelection in order to participate with other members of the board in the completion of certain projects that are now in progress, the two high schools currently under contract con-tract in Springville and Payson and the changing and upgrading upgrad-ing of the curriculum and educational edu-cational methods. He is convinced that Nebo has the finest total educational program in the state and that under the present plans it will continue to expand and improve. |
